Education

From Nurse to a Neurologist to Master
of Applied Human Nutrition

I never questioned what I wanted to do in my new country. Although it took several years to complete the medical licensing requirements, that time gave me a new perspective. As I learned more about the North American healthcare system, I came to appreciate the more holistic approach to medicine I had experienced in Europe. I also became increasingly aware of how modern food production, processing, and eating habits influence our health.

Watching the impact of dietary changes on the health of my own family inspired me to deepen my knowledge of nutrition. I realized that food has the power not only to nourish but also to prevent – and in many cases help reverse – chronic disease. That realization led me to pursue a Master’s degree in Applied Human Nutrition.

Today, I know I am exactly where I am meant to be. My journey from nurse to neurologist, and now to a Master of Applied Human Nutrition, has given me a unique perspective on health and healing. I believe the most meaningful care begins long before illness develops. By identifying the root causes of health concerns and using evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle strategies, I help people improve their health, restore their confidence, and build habits that support lifelong well-being.
