Luba4Health Luba Synyuk Master of Applied Human Nutrition

Welcome to my Luba4Health website.

I’m Luba, and I would like to share my journey with you. I grew up in a family of healers, my mom was a doctor, and my grandmother was a nurse. Their life was about caring for others. Inspired by their example I went to a medical college to become a nurse. Soon I realized that I wanted to learn more and went to medical school. I worked as a neurologist for 10 years before coming to Canada. I enjoyed my work and took great pride in my abilities to help patients.

I did not question what I would like to do in my new country. It took me a few years to complete the required medical exams. During those years I learned more about the North American Medical system and realized that in Europe we practice medicine more holistically. I learned about food practices and agriculture and processing. First-hand experience in my family with how the change in food changed health outcomes inspired me to pursue a nutritional degree.

Today more than ever I feel that I am on the right path. From Nurse to a Neurologist to Master of Applied Human Nutrition. I am taking care of people in the noblest way, by preventing or reversing illnesses by looking at the root cause of the problem and using my knowledge to correct it.

As a doctor, I know how to make numbers look better with prescription medication, as a MAHN I know how to do the same with a help of nutrition.
